a Hall of Distinction Selection Committee to be composed
of five (5) members to be representative of the Hall of
Distinction Members, the Alumni Association, Faculty,
student body, or administration of the University. The
Director of Alumni Services shall be an ex officio

committee shall remain anonymous.
The Hall of Distinction Selection Committee will meet in
November to formulate recommendations on nominees. The
Selection Committee will judge each nomination based
upon the established Criteria and Guidelines for each
category of award.
By November 30, the Committee will forward to the Vice
President for Development no more than three (3) names
total from all categories of those it recommends for
induction into the Hall of Distinction in that year.
The Vice President for Development will review these
recommendations, attach his or her own recommendations,
and forward all materials to the President of the
University who will review and make recommendations to
the University Board of Trustees. Recommended nominees
will be notified by the Office of President. In order to
accept the nomination, living nominees must be able to
attend the induction ceremony, or a family member of a
deceased nominee must be present.
The Board of Trustees, based on the information supplied
by the University President, and acting in accordance
with University Personnel regulations, may vote to
